Established on March 29, 1979, the China Instrument and Control Society (ClS) has more than 57,000 individual members, more than 1,600 group members, 45 technical divisions,11 work committees, and 30 local sections under its guidance. It was given the rating of AAAAA (5A) by the Ministry of Civil Affairs in the Evaluation of National Pioneering Social Organizations and National Social Organizations.

ClS is a member of the National Expert Committee of Industry Fundamentals, the “Coordinating Group, Overall Planning Group and Expert Group for National Intelligent Manufacturing Standardization” and the overall planning group for key projects under the national key R & D program “Basic R & D Conditions and Major Scientific Instruments and Equipment R & D." It is also a superior department to which the Secretariat of the Accreditation Committee for Scientific Instrument Studies of the China Engineering Education Accreditation Association is affiliated, and a deputy director-level member of the Teaching Guidance Committee for Scientific Instrument Studies, the Ministry of Education;ClS is the member of Intelligent Manufacturing Alliance of CAST Member Societies, Innovation Integration Societies of CAST Member Societies, CAST Alliance for Aero-engine Industry and Academy, Information Technology Societies of CAST Member Societies, Union of Innovation China.

MICONEX is the first professional exhibition sponsored by social organization with the approval of Chinese government. Since 1983, it has been held for 32 sessions and attended by thousands of enterprises, tens of thousands of scientific and technical workers, and over 600,000 person/times of professional visitors. MICONEX functions as a long-term and stable communication platform for domestic and overseas measurement, instrumentation and automation communities.

Founded in 2012, China Instrumentation Congress (CIC), organized by China Instrument and Control Society, always focuses on the integration of academics and industry, and is committed to promoting the industry’s green and intelligent manufacturing. CIC is composed of main forum and parallel forums, of which, the main forum plans to invite important guests (e.g., leaders from relevant departments, academicians, experts, industry representatives) to interpret national policies, share the technical development trend, and discuss the industrial development issues; the parallel forums will focus on digitalization, intelligence, sensor, information communication, carbon neutrality & energy, industrial online analysis and other directions for in-depth communication and discussion, in order to actively promote the transformation and upgrading of the industry, and assist in the high-quality development of the industry
